They replaced this with a box that had expired in….November. If you live near a Sam’s Club or a Walmart get them there….they are just as cheap and much fresher.
As evidenced by other reviewers’ comments across the entire Balance Bar product range, Amazon sometimes ships out expired boxes of these otherwise tasty energy bars. The price was right though, so I took a gamble in March 2006 and received a box that had expired in December 2005. Amazon gladly processed my return and replaced them with another box…from December 2005. Your best bet, unless you relish gnawing through stale, rock-hard nougat, is to procure them elsewhere.

I’ve also used a neti pot, but this is far superior. I have severe allergies, year round, and a friend recommended the neti pot which my doctor had never mentioned. If you like the almond variety sweet and salty bars that are out there, then you will like these. The other brands like planters are way too sweet for me and cause my blood sugar to spike. These are not to sweet or salty and are low glycemic so they don’t make me sleepy. Great for a quick snack or breakfast.
My wife and I were looking for a better tasting high protein bar and these are by far the best we have tasted. (And trust me, we have tasted a lot) They have a great blend of flavors and the sweet/salty nature is enough to curb any “sweets” cravings I get.
